only our screen had a red tinge to it. Turned out one of the pins in the monitor's cable had become bent when we moved. Just had to straighten out that little pin with a screwdriver(not bent, really, just at an angle), plug it back in and all was restored to normal. Worth checking before you go to any expense of repair or replacing your monitor?
