I have been using both 50mg tabs and injections for the past 6 weeks. A tab or half tab(sure is hard splitting those with a knife)at night to let me sleep during the night when I'm most prone. I awake at 4am to the beginning of an attack and use the injection, that carries through the day most days. I keep track of my pulse cause I'm also on verap which slows down my heartbeat. I have found that this combo works for me with no adverse effects except to my insurance provider..yuk yuk...
