Clustering since 1970.

Cycle is always around 6 weeks.

Period between cycles ( I hate to use the term remission - sounds too much like some fatal disease ) has grown steadily and unmistakably from 1 year to 2 years to my current 3 1/2 years.

Cycles are always the same in terms of frequency and severity of attacks with one caveat:

An individual attack used to be 1 hour and the end of an attack was well defined.

This has changed over the years. An individual attack has a clear beginning but not a clear end. An individual attack now last for HOURS and the ending is diffuse. My head will not fully clear for a few MORE hours.

Thank God that I discovered verapamil in 1988 and it works real well for me.

I do believe that we tend to outgrow them, particularly if like you and me we started early in life.

Best of luck.
