Don't know about "detoxing" from the drugs, but here is an article by Ueli about verapamil. He has done a good job with this and you might conclude that Jim is not on a high enough dose of verapamil. Also, Jonny is on the Lith-Verap dose for a chronic and has had good success, he might have some advise for you and Jim.
