I thought I was the only one. I am 73 years old, male, it is 4:00 AM it is beautiful. I have been going through a series of clusters for almost six weeks and just went through a bad one. Mine started when I was in my late forties, they occur mostly spring & fall, always at night after being in bed for about 2 hrs. wake me up with right temple, eye & cheek. With good luck I might finish this series in about two more weeks. I have contacted several doctors over the years, and I know more about "The Beast" than they do, but they try to help with various drugs, none of which work. So I scream, beat my head, dance, growl, drive my wife nuts. I work full time selling real estate, but might have to quit, as it seems to sap all the energy I have left.I just finished one of the longest free periods I have ever had lasting 2.5 yrs.
