Not to dispute what Yazz said about alchohol, (a beer or 2 just before a scheduled cluster would DEFINITELY bring one on), but I noticed in my experiences that drinking long before a headache (3 or 4 hours) would cancel the headache for that day. This may not be "proper" treatment, & is not always feasable, but it sure made the weekends nice during a cycle.
