I agree. Let everyone know what we're going through. I get so tired of people telling me "Well you look fine!" Of course I do - right now- but give me a little while, then we'll see how great I look.
As far as the doc's reaction. It makes a damn good impression on them (and their office staff). My poor doc got the HELL scared out of him when I had an attack in his office. When it was over (after we got the Imitrex) he slumped down in a chair and just stared at me. Since that time, when I call or go in - I don't wait. They get me in immediately.
But, alas, even after they see "us" go through it, they still can't imagine the pain we endure.
But it's time the Clusterheads of the world UNITE. We have nothing to loose but our HAs. Remember the OUCH motto - REFUSE TO LOOSE!Once we were alone - NOW we are many.
