In September of 1998, I had a my lower left wisdom tooth extracted, my regular dentist tryed but failed to remove it. I was given 6 to 7 shots for pain, because it was impacted he also cut away some tissue over and around it.After an hour and a half he called an oral surgeon and sent me to him the same day. There I was put to sleep and the tooth was remove. The problem I have is that I have numbness in the left lower side of my face, and sometimes a pain the shots up to my eye that makes it twitch. My oral surgeon said this would go away in a couple of months after the extaction was, but it is now June and it hasn't gotten better. Can you tell me when or if I should get the feeling back, and what is causing it?
