The discussions about the role of stress in clusters is pretty interesting. One of the worst parts of this condition is trying to explain it to others. We usually do have to explain when people ( including our families and co-workers ) see us with a droopy, bloodhsot eye in obvious agonizing pain while we have this intense restlessness that makes us incapable of functioning.
There are headaches that are caused by tension and stress. Clusters are not explained that easily. I usually don't try to explain clusters to others anymore but if I have to I make it very clear that this is not a reaction to stress. I always felt that saying they were stress related did not do them justice. I think any sufferer would agree that you can not relax your way out of a cluster.
