I'm pretty new to this site, but since I found it I
get little less depressed at least while I read what all
you guys post.....One question: I am in the 3rd
month now of CH after a 7 years relief (it lasted
1 month and a half back in 1991). Depending
on the day I can get one attack or 4 or 5.
After over a month of Verapamil they definately
seem to be less painful but the number doesnt seem
to slow down. Until couple of weeks ago I tried to
refrain from using Imitrex injections (here in Italy the drug is called Imigran and it's in 6 mg. shot and
auwfully expensive). Now as soon as I feel it coming
I just shot myself an injection.And the pain goes.. Some day I am up to 4 or 5 injectionsin a 24 hrs cycle.
I also feel that if after and injection I also take a
100 mg tablets the next attack seems to come much
later than taking the injection alone.
Question: has anyone of you gone over 5 shots
a day, adding tablets?
I do not seem to suffer from any side-effect, if not
that then when I'm attack-free I feel sleepy and little
dizzy.
