I've been cluster free for two months now. I am very greatful for each clusterfree day. My clusters come every three years, and last 1-2 months. This sight back in febuary and march was my lifeline. I went through 60 tanks of 02, and then after about 6 weeks I did the prednisone stack, and they left! usually works that way.Have any of you noticed that your tolerance for pain ,for a normal injury, say like a burn or a severe sprain, is differint after a bout w/cluster? I was playing basketball w/ my son and came down on my right foot all wrong.(big time). My family thought my foot was broke, and my son thought I was kidding when I could'nt get up.But always in my mind I'm thinking "This is nothing" for a week I could not walk on my foot, its still messed up. But so what!AT LEAST I HAVE THE OPTION TO PLAY AND GET HURT! I'll take that any day. I had to go to a different shift(2nd) to be able to work through my episode. now I have to stay on it, but thats ok.My supervisor had the opening and I took it. so later after the episode is over this jerk gets irritated and has the nerves, not balls mind you, because he doesn't have any, to say "after all I've done for YOU". He lets me go to 2nd shift. But he has to, I'm top seniorty. all he did for me, right. I blew a major fuse come damn close to ripping his still beating heart right out of his chest and showing him how black it is before he died. I endure these by myself, for twenty years I have. Ive worked for this jerk for twelve, and bet Ive only missed maybe 4 days total.But I cannot work 1st during an episode. WE used to have a decent relationship . Never ever again though. Then their are other folks who really were helpful and super cool, and I'd take a bullet for them. By the way, its a common joke around the office now, after all the boss has done for you. big joke, but so is he, and I have no time to waste on the fool. But really folks hats off to the ones that try to understand and Godspeed to them. as for the rest of the fools, hey dont f*** with a clusterhead its not wise. hang tight friends its all that grey matters.
