I have been on lithium alone, and it works great for me. Gets rid of CHs 100% !!! I began on it this past March and the 2nd day I was on it, no CH. Was CH free until I weened myself off of the lithium in mid-May or so. Still was CH free. And still am. My neuro wanted me to go on Depakote, but I said no because of the side effects I had read about. Lithium also has some minor side effects, but I was able to live with them.
