I would take 60mg for 10 days, then taper off a quarter of a pill every 4 or 5 days. I'm sensitive to getting of the Prednisone, so I have to taper off slowly. If you don't have enough pills, then you have to make a different plan. I wouldn't start to taper off until you see the CH are stopped. Unless the pills aren't helping. Then you might as well get off of them for good. I don't like the side effects of Prednisone . . . no sleep, and irritability. The first time the Prednisone worked for me . . . the second time not.
