Aw shit drummer, I really feel for you man. I have two small children and I have also had to deal with trying to keep things together for them. It's hard. Damn hard to be at once wracked with pain and civil to these little ones. The look in their eyes when the see me writhing in pain and acting like a madman, well it's just heart breaking. One thing I do know though, is that when they say things like "I wish I had a regular daddy" what they really mean is that they wish that their dad (you,me and the rest of the dads out there who suffer) was regular and didn't have these headaches. They don't want a different dad, they just want us to be OK. Sometimes when I'm coming down from a bout, I'll just hold one of them and they give me the strength to go on. They love US and only want us to be OK. Knowing that gives me great strength when I need it to do further battle with the beast. Hang tough drummer. Email me if you like. You are in my thoughts.
