Thanks everybody! I am in the process of quitting caffeine at least until this cycle is over, and already it seems like the headaches are few and farther between, and the last one was a bit lighter than usual. I guess a 5 or 6 on Kip's scale, although I'm not sure the scale applies to me because I very rarely get them at night. It's always a couple hours after waking. I don't think I get them as bad as some of the people whose stories I have read on here... mine seem to have longer warning signs, and when they are at their peak they feel like a white hot ball bearing behind my eye and (I don't know if this makes sense) but it feels like it is massaging my head with waves of excrutiating pain. But I don't have to bang my head or anything, thankfully, I just walk fast and try to think of other things because I know they will pass in time. So I guess I'm lucky, for now, and I really feel for those of you who get them worse. Thank you all and may you all enjoy your pain-free periods to the fullest!
