Mine feels like there is a small metal ball bearing behind my right eye. When the aura hits, it feels as though that ball bearing starts warming up. At the peak of the attack, it feels like it is literally white hot and spinning, ready to explode or come searing out of my eye. That's when the tears come to my right eye, and the discharge out of the right nostril (does anybody know what this stuff is technically? Is it just plain old snot?) Then the process reverses, and the point of pain begins cooling down. All of this happens generally in an hour, though sometimes less and sometimes considerably more.
