Been using cafergot & ercaf for about 25 years. It's my mainstay. I also keep my stomach empty for quicker absorption of the tab. I have experienced nausea only when the cafergot didn't work and I'd wind up with a full blown 10. After about 4 tabs of cafergot and 2 hours of level 10, I'm in the bathroom barfing and praying for the Lord to do His thing. This is when I noticed that the HA would abort almost immediately after heaving. For some clusters I would find my to the bathroom and do the finger down the throat thing just to end the HA. This also led me to the realization that exercise at the start of a HA aborts it in 5 minutes (for me). Last cluster I tried it by doing squats when I felt a HA starting and aborted 60+ HA within 5 minutes (with & without the cafergot). Next go round I think I'll drop the meds completely and rely on exercise & O2.
