I have felt embarrassed in a way. i only discovered the site recently, as I was looking for something on the net, some latest knowledge etc. as my cluster is due at this time of year. But I am so lucky compared to many. I only have a cluster lasting at the most six weeks, and in recent years I have been going two years before the next bout. I am now almost over the period in which I have always had them, and- I can hardly believe this- I haven't started this time. I may be going to go for three years clear! I'm 53 now, and had it since I was 15. Maybe I'm growing out of the whole thing. I hope this encourages others to hope.
I think I'll keep visiting the site and try to help if possible. I certainly feel the sense of belonging and caring that exists among fellow sufferers. I've never actually met anyone else who has CH.
