Don't be surprised. I've had NEUROLOGISTS tell me after reading hospital emergency room reports from the night before when I was in a 100+ cluster attack that "ohhhhh,it couldn't hurt that much!" Naturally,I dropped those kind of doctors very quickly. Don't be afraid to shop around and find out about docs who really understand ch.
