Before the bout:
You are walking through the woods, life is wonderful, then, out of the corner of your eye, you see a shadow, you turn to look, and nothings there, you can hear crackling in the brush, you get scared, because you know at any moment, the demon will pop out and get you. If you are lucky, he goes away, if not, he pounces on you...
After the bout: (you are bruised and beaten)
Making your way out of the woods, crawling, fatigued, exhausted, you see a shadow out of the corner of your eye, you turn and look, but nothings there, you can hear him crackling in the bushes, but you know he is going away, as you make your way to the clearing...
In a nutshell, its the feeling that you are going to get a full blown attack, but you dont. With me, for the past few years, that was all I got throught the whole bout. Just shadows, then nothing. This last bout, the shadows, then a full blown bout. This time I seemed to be plagued with a long period of shadows that are fading much slower than I have ever had, over a month now.
