Heard through the grapevine that the convention committee has decided to give out awards next year, so I thought y'all might be interested in what they are.
The Drummer-awarded to the person who most creatively and frequently uses the F-word in conversation, posting, emails or sleeptalking.
The Barbd-for the best hugger.
The Margi-for research advancements into water desalination
The garyg-aka, the "Can we be serious here?" award
The Kip-for kindness to animals
The Cathyj-nomination requires at least 200 posts with absolutely no punctuation or spelling mistakes.
The Elaine-for most creative use of bold, contrasting colors in interior decorating.
The incognito-winners names will not be announced, they cannot attend the convention and must be hiding in a darkened room with a bag over their heads while the presentations are made.
