half-life of 2 hours

I went to GlaxoWellcome's website and found that the half-life for tablets is 2.5 hours and for injections is 2.0 hours. These seems a little weird since the peak concentrations are at 15 min (injec) and 2 hours (tabs), but that is what the information states. I think the same info is on the paper that we all throw out when we get the imitrex. I believe the half-life means that half the stuff is left in you after the specified time period. So for injections, half is left after 2 hours, 1/4 after 4 hours 1/8 after 6 hours …
