After a one year remission following a severe staph infection,my CH's have returned.After a couple of months of this I went to my latest HMO assigned dr. to get new rx's for calan ,imitrex etc. He put me on Cardizem CD instead of Calan. Said they were in the same family of meds.Has anyone used this? Also, do most of you discontinue use of Calan after your episodes cease?My CH's were pretty much chronic for 12 years and I took Calan continously. Thanxs for being there.
