I tapered off prednisone faster than recommended, and not only lost control of my thermostat (reeeeally hot), but also had joint pain, acne, and total loss of appetite. Hang with it, and if necessary go back on at a low dose and taper more slowly.
I worked it out by going to 10 mg for 3 days, then 5 for 3 days, then 2-1/2 for 3 days, then off.
