Wasabi (green Japanese horseradish, the kind you get with sushi) has actually helped me a time or two--it's a painful solution, but it will occasionally blow a cluster headache right out of my skull. I roll up a ball of wasabi about the size of a nickel and pop it in my mouth. My eyes burn, my sinuses feel like they're being sandblasted, and my head explodes, but after it's over, the pain is gone. I've tried this nine or ten times, it's worked probably four times. Seems to depend on the headache. I'll keep gathering data, though....
