As for the "funny taste" that's been mentioned...I've noticed it too. But I've always had the sensation that the consistency of the saliva in my mouth changes when I have a H/A in an almost indefinable way--thicker somehow, with an unpleasant undertone of taste. Another of the minor side-effects, I suppose.
