I've had CH for 28 years so I can relate to how you are feeling right now. I just tried Imitrex Nasal Spray (20mg) about two weeks ago for the first time. It stopped the headache in 20-25 minutes and I had not a bit of pain in my head the rest of the day. I was amazed as I had been on the prednisone to years ago and I couldn't handle it either. I had to use it again 2 days later and it worked the same magic. If you haven't tried it, it may work. Be sure you get the 20 mg dose as the 5mg or 10mg probably won't work.
