I was just diagnosed on Saturday, 09/26/98, with CH. I experienced this for the fist time approx. 2 years ago, but was misdiagnosed, (I was 34 and the Dr. said it was vertigo). I thought that what ever I had was gone for good unitl this past July, when it resurfaced. Anyway, I'm having a very difficult time dealing with the fact that I have a condition that seems to be very complex. I have not had any problems sleeping at night. Actually, when I go to sleep I'm pain free. I am currently at work and use Ibuprfen to hold the HA at bay. However, my Dr. has perscribed Amitriptyline for the long run. I pray that this drug will put this thing into remission. My heart truly goes out to all of you, and I sincerely pray that God will deliver us from this in the very near future.
