I have suffered from CH for 20 years and the only thing that helps is Imitrex injection. After the injection the headache is gone in 5 to 10 min. The only trouble is the cost...Glaxco Welcome is charging way to much for this medication. I paid 120.00 for 2 injections yesterday. And during my cycle I take 1 to 2 shots a day. Has anyone heard of a program where Galxco Welcome helps with the cost of the medication.
Seems like I heard something like that in the past. Also I usually get my headaches in May but in April I had part of my thyroid removed (on the side where the migrains attack) and did not have one headache. It has been a year and a half. I was really hoping that was a contributing factor. But I guess not. Thanks...Kathy
