My daughter who is almost 10 just started with the headaches.
I believe it is clusters because after the second day she
said she wanted to go to sleep and never wake up because
the pain was so bad. It has been two weeks of brutal
attacks and all of her symptoms seem to be clusters,
the right eye area and that side of the head, no warning - just
the pain comes and lasts about and 1 or more and then
it just disappears like it came. She thrashes uncontrollably.
No vomiting and no pain medicine seems to be working on her.
We've tried Immitrex and are now on Indometricin. She is
being seen by Pediatric neurologists now. Is it common to
start this young? I would appreciate any info of clusters
in children. I am really nervous and my mothers intuition
tells me this is just the beginning. Thank you
