The intervals between clusters can be very long. In my case, it also took many years for me to see that there was a pattern. I now know that I had my first cluster attack in 1956 and had been having shadows since 1950. However, it took me till 1986 to get the correct diagnosis. And it was only last year that I found a solution: Verapamil. Try it. It may work for you, too. Just be sure to take enough of it - I take 480 mg. a day and some people have to take as much as 640 mg. or more. The primary side-effect is constipation.
