had prednisone about 2 weeks ago = a 9 day cycle. found releif and reduced eye swelling - eye actually started to heal up while at 60mg/day - 3 days, when reduced to 40mg/day the swelling started back and the shadowing become constant, at 20mg/day it just intensified. within 24 hrs off they were there waiting....side effects were a weight gain, then moodiness as tappered off, stiff swelling joints, but mostly I found it just masked the pain while at high dose....though right now I'd gladly take someore of it - been at 7's all day,
