When I have a bad CHA period that refuses to allow me sleep, I take the Imitrex injection and it works in about 10 minutes. 2-2.5 hrs later the CHA is back! I dont think it has to do with a rebound effect, just the wonder drug wore off. Its half life is 2 hrs. Sidenote: The Verapamil 240 SR pills from your Doc may do the trick for you as they have helped me a lot.
