I'm in remission from 26 months (Yahoo), but my cycle (annual, 2/3 months lenght) is composed in this way:
my night attacks are at 12, 2, 4 and, in odd days(seems impossible!) at 6 AM. Regular as a Swiss clock (apologies UELI :-) ) lenght 1 hour.
If I go to bed early (before 9 PM) I develop another bout at 10:30....and no bonuses for the following others...
During the day I have at least 1 attack (more long, approx 2 hours). If I try to sleep during the day I got only this attack, no more. This means that REM is not involved, at least not ever. And also the position (horizontal) seems not important.
And....sorry..... no suggestions, only my best wishes...
Ciao and PFNAD
