I believe the hazel eye connection was first
mentioned by Dr. Lee Kudrow in his book on cluster
headaches. I think the whole link was Jewish
women with hazel eyes, who seemed to be highly
represented in the cluster population he studied.
I, skeptic that I am, remain skeptical of the
validity of this link. For one thing, Dr. Kudrow
practiced in a part of L.A. where there is a large
Jewish population, so that alone could have skewed
his sample.
