Flo, No there are some of us who have headaches all the time. Your son needs a correct diagnosis. Headaches can be mixed...different types happening simutaneously. The MRI can be negative and still have headaches. (Negative is good!) There are MANY types of pain relievers from nonsteroidals to Morphine. Hang in there. Everyone here is tremendously supportive. There are no instant answers unfortunately. A knowledgeable MD and proper diagnosis is the key.
