I think we can all agree that some people took Elaine's post about disability the wrong way and some people took my post to Carl the wrong way. Neither of us meant to insult or offend anyone. My only intention was to try to help. Elaine's was to put a point about herself across.
Naturally, you are entitled to your own opinion. I respect that you're trying to make a particular point. But I just think that we should all just move on now. The constant re-hashing of all the recent arguements and judgements are getting us nowhere. It's just causing greater strife.
Say what you like about me, but Elaine is a very good person. She's helped a lot of people here. She doesn't deserve the flack at all.
I think it would be much better if we can all beg to differ and move on. That way there'll be no harsher words said, we can all stay friends and no one ends up apologising in a few days time, after we've all had a chance to cool down.
That's just my HO.
