Hi, Sansert is a great drug though is has many potentially harmful side effects. It is VERY important not to mix vasoactive drugs! Trust me I do not mix things inappropriately and still had a coronary spasm related to a "mixture" of prescribed meds. You can NOT take Imitrex and Sansert at the same time. Your doc is quite accurate....there are always some trade offs.
You also mentioned the cocaine. I have used it as prescribed nasal drops (as an abortive). It did work well. Unfortunately, I can no longer use it do to my cardiac incident. Talk to your doc about it. Best of luck to you! irene
