I was a "Provider Credentialling Specialist" for 10+ years. There is an actual certification that you receive to "investigate" doctors and other medical providers. The problem with making lots of information public is that the public does not really know what to do with it. There was a TV program that said to find out where your physician went to medical school - now what info is this actually going to give you?
