I have had multiple headaches for the last 13 years, finally diagnosed yesterday as cluster headaches. I am currently taking amitriptylene to try and stop them happening - I have severe episodes with milder headaches inbetween. Since starting in March I have had no major outbreak (although too early to tell if the amitrip is working). However, I have put on weight. I thought I was eating too much but see that others think amitrip could be a cause. Is there any evidence for that or is it just wishful thinking?? Thanks.
