My insurance company just switched prescription plans, and the pharmacy just informed me that the new formulary will only allow one refill of Imitrex injections (2 shots) per month and one refill of 6 Maxalt MLT tablets per month, no matter what the doctor says. This really sucks big time. Even with the "Imitrex Tip" (using 1/3 dose) this is going to leave me really short of the stuff. Anybody out there have a sure-fire way to get an insurance company to capitulate?
