I took topamax for my seizures and it was a terrific drug. My ears rang a little so I switched to depakote. I was told that's the commen side-effect but who cares? I'm in a long CH remission and I'm still not sure why. Try topamax, I found it to be a rather benign drug and it sounds like a lot of people use it. Charlie
