I had ulcers once. Zantac provided almost instant relief. I had three blocked arteries once. Angioplasty and stents provided relief. Never have I dealt with such a devastating and frustrating health problem! I wish that I knew how many doctors I have seen, how many tests I have endured, and how many drugs I have taken. Nothing helps! The last doctor threw away everything I was taking, and started me on a regimen of verapamil, prednisone, indocin, neurontin, and lydocaine (up the nose). Since we started our doctor-patient relationship, he has doubled most of my medication. When I asked about side effects, he told me that I had a choice between suffering from CH's, or letting the drugs "poison" me. Well, I'm now getting both. I have gone from being depressed to being angry. Nothing even slows down the monster anymore. I know there are many of us in the same boat, but I'm just blowing off steam. Hope you guys are better!
