It's been my observation throughout my life time that people, as well as our life problems, only come to a position of full cooperation and trust when there is a common severe threat or crisis impending.
This is one of the premises I have used to battle my own demons, by thinking one step ahead and creating the pre-crisis situation before the "Real Crisis" arises.
In Drug use it was the obvious threat of getting busted or overdosing, as well as the long term consequences from the substance abuse.
Same in my marital problems, was a spotless home so essential that I should jeopardize everything to press the point?
So create the Crisis and we'll all come together! Pappy
