I have chosen to ignore the carrot and granola remarks. Herbal ice packs can be found at kiosks in most malls or at health food stores. They are filled with flax seeds or buckwheat seed hulls as well as various herbs, such as mints, hops, lavender, etc, which are known natural sedatives. They take about 20 minutes to get very cold as opposed to hours for freezing water and can also be nuked for heat. They release the scents of the herbs as a form of aromatherapy in hopes of calming the user. Wise ass.:)
