Since winter depression is linked to wrong amounts of serotonin (I seem to remember), as is jet lag, I can understand the "light" treatment,. But behind the knees????

Do the flashlights have to shine on the back of our knees? Why flashlights in particular?
Won't a halogen spot do?

Do we clamp the flashes in the hollow of our knees, shining sideways? In or out? Or both to left or right?

I do hope this is not a joke (like aspirin to prevent conception: clamp one aspirin between knees).
