Hope the headache has passed. My husband, Lee, has been taking Imitrex for the past 2+ weeks, and it has been working well. He takes the 50 mg. pill. Like your husband, he takes it at the first sign of an attack and it usually works in about 15 minutes or so. Like you, I'm wondering if it's working because the headaches aren't as severe as they were a couple of weeks ago. I guess time will tell. Also, Lee has been taking Verapamil as a preventative--maybe that has also helped. Is your husband taking anything as a preventative? My heart goes out to you both! Joy
