I received your e-mail and have read all the messages related to this new technique being offered.I have been a sufferer for 16 years and have seen 3 Neurologists,chairopractor,homeopaths,accupuncturist etc.so I am pretty sceptical when I hear of a cure.I know of the headache clinic in Jhb SA and I tried contacting them (Ilive in Cape Town - 1500 km away).The receptionist would not let me talk to any of the Doctors and insisted that I visit them in person.(I then lost interest).
A family member of mine visited them for a migraine problem and they issued her with a device which fits in the mouth as they explained that her problem was caused by tension in the jaw muscles-this did not solve the problem.I would be willing to consider acting as guinea pig for this carotid artery procedure if I felt that it even had a 10% chance of success with a low risk factor.
I know of Dr Shevel in SA and if he or Daniel read this then we could possibly communicate further.As an experienced member of this pain club you know that any chance of losing the pain is worth taking.
