I`m a 37 year old woman that has suffered with CH for 25 year`s now. Like you I was the perfectionis. Good hubby 2 beautifull children. Life was good out as well as in,but the CH was getting worse. I was to hard headed to go to the doc`s back then. I was in denile that something like a headache was going to keep me down. All this did was make matter`s worse. How I have held on to my life sometime`s I even question. Tami someday`s it`s one day at a time. Or should I say 1 hour at a time.
My reason for caring on with life is my hubby and children. See the way I look at them my hubby is my heart. My children or the blood that pump`s through me they are my life my reason for being.O`Yea there`s those day`s where I dont want to do anything, but die. I get over that real fast when my children or hubby come`s in to my darkend bedroom and very quitly ask`s "Mom do you need anything ?"
Ch has changed my life. It has made my family bond even more closer.
It was more upsetting to them when I was`nt doing for me. Granted that one was hard one to learn. To take care of me. I sometime`s still have to be reminded to slow down, stop, go to bed, take care of yourself.
In away I think some woman dont come forward for alot of these reason`s. Mom`s dont get sick or they think it might be something worse than it really is. I`m not saying CH is easy by know mean`s. It a hard tuff life to live with CH. It can be done. Just look at all of us on the board. We have survied and we are alive.
Tami the way you deal with CH might be different than any of us. But NEVER NEVER give up hope.
