Kevin, I use Amerge as a preventative, i.e. I break each 2.5mg pill in half, and take it about 12 hours apart. I used to take the whole pill, but the cost is outta sight. I don't know if weight has anything to do with the dosage, it's just something I tried out of desparation, and mostly it works. One thing though, I have to figure out the best time to take it based on the time of the HAs. For sure, I always take one before I go to sleep. Basically though, once I get on a regiment of taking the pills, I usually do very well, with an occasional breakthrough.
